    • On Tour: DJORDJEVIC’s Working class goes to hell
ENFF On Tour lands in Rotterdam next Sunday, October 27, at Kino for the Dutch premiere of Working Class Goes to Hell by Serbian director Mladen Đorđević. The director of The Life and Death of a Porno Gang (2009) returns with another uncompromising, wildly imaginative, and transgressive mix of genre and social drama that you won’t want to miss.
    • On Tour: CHAJDAS’s IMAGO
ENFF arrives in The Hague with the post-punk psychological drama Imago by Polish director Olga Chajdas. The Dutch premiere of Imago will take place on Friday, November 1, at 19:00 at Laaktheater, The Hague. Our signature Balkan cocktail will be served before the screening.
    • On Tour: Katalin MOLDOVAI debut’s Without Air
The debut feature film by Romanian director Katalin Moldovai comes to LHC Utrecht as part of the ENFF On Tour program. A seemingly innocent report triggers a chain of events that causes Ana, a high school teacher, to lose her footing in the world she once believed was secure.

An inspirational essay on love, loving and being together told through encounters with attractive couples all around the world. Beautifully shot, a well-edited and directed film made by a married couple who turned their own honeymoon into a remarkable year-long trip with their camera. The most viewed Croatian film in theatres in 2021.

Synopsis

From deep within the Amazonian forests and remote villages in the Himalayas to the world’s largest metropolises, this stunning documentary shows us 33 different stories of love and marriage, challenges and struggles, highs and lows, amounting to one big love story which reminds us that love is never simple, but at the same time just a few things on Earth are as simple as love. The film is a collage of subjective statements by people from different geographical, economic and political contexts, and follows all phases of their relationship – from the moment they met, all the way up to the present.

Director’s statement

My wife Andjela and I turned our honeymoon into a year-long exploration of possible answers to the question – what is love? On this journey, we talked to more than 200 people in 30 countries on 6 continents. After coming home, we transformed this inspiring experience into a documentary and a book showing all the complexity of love in the 21st century. As two experienced world travellers, we met thanks to our joint passion. Deciding to get married after three years of being together, it only made sense to us to spend our honeymoon doing what we love the most – travelling. For a whole year, we travelled the world interviewing different couples about the meaning of love.
