    • On Tour: DJORDJEVIC’s Working class goes to hell
ENFF On Tour lands in Rotterdam next Sunday, October 27, at Kino for the Dutch premiere of Working Class Goes to Hell by Serbian director Mladen Đorđević. The director of The Life and Death of a Porno Gang (2009) returns with another uncompromising, wildly imaginative, and transgressive mix of genre and social drama that you won’t want to miss.
    • On Tour: CHAJDAS’s IMAGO
ENFF arrives in The Hague with the post-punk psychological drama Imago by Polish director Olga Chajdas. The Dutch premiere of Imago will take place on Friday, November 1, at 19:00 at Laaktheater, The Hague. Our signature Balkan cocktail will be served before the screening.
    • On Tour: Katalin MOLDOVAI debut’s Without Air
The debut feature film by Romanian director Katalin Moldovai comes to LHC Utrecht as part of the ENFF On Tour program. A seemingly innocent report triggers a chain of events that causes Ana, a high school teacher, to lose her footing in the world she once believed was secure.

About

Eastern Neighbours Film Festival (ENFF) began in The Netherlands in 2008 with the idea to offer Dutch and international audiences a unique glimpse into the cinema of their neighbours from Eastern and Southern Europe. This annual event presents the most recent, exciting, and thought‐provoking films, from countries with small, but often powerful film industries, that mostly cannot be seen in The Netherlands. The film program includes feature films, documentaries, shorts, and animations; most of the selected films are Dutch premieres. Each year the film program is accompanied by numerous side events, designed to educate and initiate new partnerships. The presence of prominent guests, directors, actors, producers, and their direct communication with the audience makes ENFF an inspiring event for every participant and cinema-goer. Through the screened films, thematic debates, masterclasses, and exciting encounters with our guests, the festival creates a cultural arena where people can come together, engage, discuss and enjoy high-quality cinema.

16th Eastern Neighbours Film Festival

Our new edition will take place between 27 November – 1 December 2024 at Filmhuis Den Haag.

All films at the ENFF have English subtitiles!
