ENFF On Tour in Amersfoort

Thursday 12 September | from 18:30 hours | De Lieve Vrouw | Lieve Vrouwestraat 13, 3811 BP Amersfoort

ENFF brings films to more cities in The Netherlands! Join us for our first On Tour event in Amersfoort – a combined screening of two very special films and a Balkan cocktail – in arthouse cinema De Lieve Vrouw.

We will screen documentary SCREAM FOR ME SARAJEVO by Tarik Hodzic, about the secret concert of Bruce Dickinson and his band during the war siege of the city. The film won 3 prizes at the Sarajevo Film Festival, went to cinemas all around the world and is one of the most exciting films from our previous edition. Legendary musician Chris Dale, our special guest, will be present at the screening!

Furthermore, get ready for a Dutch premiere – STITCHES by Miroslav Terzic. A psychological drama with a thriller undercurrent inspired by true story. The film won the Europa Cinemas Label as Best European film in the Panorama section at this year’s Berlinale.

In between two films the audience is invited by ENFF for a cozy Balkan treat: traditional snacks with Ajvar, made of baked paprika, Balkan cheese and a traditional drink – plum brandy. The intermission will be accompanied by live musical performance by Macedonian-Dutch artist Aleksandra Popovska.
