Live Talk on Women’s Power

ENFF brings strong female line-up in this year’s special program Women’s Power and Cinema as Cultural Memory in which we highlight several true stories that got acknowledgement in remarkable films that were recently made.

Join the live talk on Thursday 12 November at 17:00 hours with the filmmakers Antoneta Kastrati from Kosovo (the director of Zana), Dana Budisavljevic from Croatia (the director of The Diary of Diana B.) and Katalin Barsony from Hungary (the director of How Far the Stars). All three films are based on true events. These power women discuss the use of cinema as a form of cultural memory. Can we use the art of filmmaking to shape the history of society?

The webinar will be moderated by Margje de Koning, director of Movies That Matter Festival. The link to the live talk will be published on ENFF online channels.
