On Tour: Manchevski’s Kaymak and Macedonian Delights

Rialto De Pijp, Amsterdam | Saturday 21 October | 14:45 hours

We will soon be hitting the road with our ENFF On Tour program, which brings captivating cinema to some of the most beautiful cinemas in the Netherlands. We’re thrilled to be visiting Amsterdam’s Rialto De Pijp, where you can join us for a Dutch premiere you won’t want to miss.

On Saturday, 21 October, we will present the Dutch premiere of the feature film Kaymak by celebrated Macedonian director Milcho Manchevski. The film explores the lives of two couples in Skopje, North Macedonia, dealing with love, family, and relationships. Kaymak offers a unique blend of humour, heart, and thought-provoking storytelling.

After the screening, we’re especially excited to host a special gathering where the North Macedonian Embassy will treat the audience to authentic Macedonian drinks and the delicious kaymak featured in the film. It’s the perfect way to savour the speciality just seen on the big screen.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to indulge in the flavours of North Macedonia. Get your tickets for a cinematic experience followed by a tasty treat!
