Great opening day of our Focus program – Romani Stories by Romani (Female) Directors, last night in Filmtheater Kriterion. Vera Lackova from Slovakia introduced her film How I Became a Partisan on which she worked for 4 years. Another special guest Alina Serban, Romanian actress and director, as well as Katalin Barsony, PHD candidate and documentary maker from Hungary who gave an engaging masterclass Alter Image: Romani representation in 21st century.
