The director of The Life and Death of a Porno Gang (2009) returns with another uncompromising, wildly imaginative, and transgressive mix of genre and social drama that you won’t want to miss.
    • On Tour: CHAJDAS’s IMAGO
      ENFF arrives in The Hague with the post-punk psychological drama Imago by Polish director Olga Chajdas. The Dutch premiere of Imago will take place on Friday, November 1, at 19:00 at Laaktheater, The Hague. Our signature Balkan cocktail will be served before the screening.

      The debut feature film by Romanian director Katalin Moldovai comes to LHC Utrecht as part of the ENFF On Tour program. A seemingly innocent report triggers a chain of events that causes Ana, a high school teacher, to lose her footing in the world she once believed was secure.

ENFF On Tour in Utrecht Brings 2 Extraordinary Docu-Fiction Films

ENFF On Tour in Utrecht brings two extraordinary docu-fiction films made by female directors: ARAF (Berlinale) by Turkish cineast Didem Pekun, shot in Bosnia and Herzegovina and ONCE UPON A TIME IN SHANGHAI (IDFA) by Azerbaijani filmmaker Leyli Gafarova made during the shooting of the fiction feature film Bra by Veit Heilmer, with the special appearance of the Serbian actor Miki Manojlovic. Araf is a diary of a ghostly character, Nayia, who travels between Srebrenica, Sarajevo and Mostar. Read more here. Once Upon a Time in Shanghai is hilarious and thought-provoking hybrid documentary that explores complexity of a film shooting in a colourful area in Baku – Azerbaijan. Read more.

The screening of this two hybrid films in Louis Hartlooper Complex Utrecht will be accompanied by film analyses by professor Nenad Fiser who will have a conversation with the audience after the screening. At the end, all visitors are invited to a delicious Balkan Cocktail.
