On Tour: CHAJDAS’s IMAGO at Cavia Amsterdam
Cavia, Amsterdam | Friday 28 February | 20:30 hours
ENFF lands in Amsterdam for the first time this 2025 with the post-punk psychological drama Imago by Polish director Olga Chajdas.
The screening of Imago will take place on Friday, February 28, at 20:30 at Cavia, Amsterdam. Established in 1983 by a squatters movement, Filmhuis Cavia is one of the smallest cinemas in the Netherlands, with only 40 seats. Filmhuis Cavia presents a wide range of contemporary independent cinema from around the world, artist films, and historical films, both canonical and marginalized.
Not only is Cavia volunteer-run, but it’s also a member of the Cineville pass, offering affordable tickets for just €5, making cinema accessible to all!
ABOUT THE FILM. Ela is searching for her place in bleak, communist Poland. Energetic and full of ideas, yet burdened by doubts and a complicated relationship with her mother, Ela finds solace and a sense of freedom within the alternative art scene, eventually becoming the lead singer of a post-punk band.
