Wild Flower, My Own Private War | Het Nutshuis, The Hague | 29.10.16.

A big thank you to the filmmakers who were present in de Bankhal and made this evening one to remember. We screened two Albanian spoken films, both Dutch premieres. One of the VIP guests were director Arber Aliaj and production manager Berta Aliaj from Love Killed My Virginity; while the Dutch/Moroccan director Fathia Bazi of Wild Flower elaborated on this amazing phenomenon of Balkan sworn virgins. Talk with Lidija Zelovic after the screening of My Own Private War was extremely powerful – with her emotional statement she moved the audience, some even to tears.
