Synopsis

Industrial wastelands of the small town in Serbia provide a playground and a safe space for a 11-year-old Ivica. He is spending his days exploring the abandoned terrains with a group of peers. Today he is in a less exploratory mood, as he learns about the most disturbing event of his life – his parents’ divorce.

Director’s bio

Stefan Ivancic (Yugoslavia, 1985) graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade. His short film SOLES DE PRIMAVERA (2013) had its international premiere at FID Marseille and has been selected at festivals such as Rotterdam, San Sebastian, Torino and Seville, among other. His documentary 1973 (2014) had its premiere at Visions du Reel and his graduation film MOONLESS SUMMER (2014) was selected for the Festival de Cannes, Cinefondation. His films have received a great number of national and international awards.
