Love – a sign of weakness or the true sense of our existence? Dutch Premiere

SYNOPSIS

Tarik lives alone and works as a stockman in a supermarket. He is lonely and killing his time in the company of two colleagues. A small shop near by the supermarket employs new girl. Tarik is fond of her, and under cover of darkness he secretly starts to draw on a store window. He is hidden from the prying eyes of the society that see every emotion as a sign of weakness.

VERHAAL

Tarik woont alleen en werkt als vakkenvuller in een supermarkt. Hij is eenzaam en doodt zijn tijd in het gezelschap van twee collega’s. Zijn leven verandert als hij gevoelens krijgt voor een meisje dat komt werken in het winkeltje naast de supermarkt. Maar het is voor Tarik niet makkelijk om daarmee om te gaan; hij moet zijn gevoelens verbergen voor de nieuwsgierige ogen van de samenleving die elke emotie als een teken van zwakte ziet.
