Houston, We Have a Problem + Masterclass

Friday 3 November | 14.30 hours | Filmhuis, Den Haag

For audience and students coming to Filmhuis Den Haag on November 3, we have a special treat: an exciting, thought-provoking, Slovenian docu-fiction Houston, we have a problem! by Ziga Virc, which brought him international recognition. It is ann intriguing and masterfully crafted docu-fiction which explores the myth of the secret multi-billion-dollar deal behind America’s purchase of Yugoslavia’s clandestine space program in the early 1960s.

The screening is followed by a masterclass with the screenwriter and producer Bostjan Virc and moderated by professor Nenad Fiser. The masterclass will focus on use and misuse of visual language in our everyday life through the practice and philosophy behind the making of Houston, we have a problem!
