Winner of the Audience Award at a Croatian documentary festival, this charming and somewhat humorous film features an appealing main character who poses interesting questions as to the values of life. Dutch Premiere.
The screening will be followed by Q&A with the director Visnja Skorin and the protagonist Sandra Jurak.

Synopsis

At 50 years old, Sandra Jurak lost her job at a TV station where she worked as an editor for many years. Forced to move back in with her mother, she takes up odd jobs to survive. She cleans houses and takes care of an old woman with whom she develops a warm relationship. When she was younger, Sandra was a backup singer and an assistant to a famous Croatian songwriter and performer. And now, at this stage of her life, she decides to revive her music career as a solo singer and signs up for a televised singing competition.
