La Notte Filmnacht

Once again, the Eastern Neighbours Film Festival participates in an inspiring film event LA NOTTE in Kino Rotterdam and FC Hyena, Amsterdam. During La Notte Filmnacht, the best films from different Dutch film festivals will be screened.

This year, the Eastern Neighbours will present from its program the Swedish film MY AUNT IN SARAJEVO by Sarajevo-born director Goran Kapetanovic. Another opportunity to see this deeply moving and humorous drama about obstinate Swedish daughter forces father to confront his younger Bosnian self on a trip to Sarajevo. About La Notte
La Notte features an extremely varied mix of short and full-length films, especially selected by the program managers of twelve Dutch film festivals. Presented from 17:00 – 05:00 in two movie theaters, La Notte screens films from the Eastern Neighbours Film Festival, Wild Life Filmfestival, Cinedans – Dance on screen, Arab Film Festival, Festival Latino Americano, Noordelijk Film Festival, goShort – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen, Imagine Film Festival, Fraude Film Festival, Roffa Mon Amour, Camera Japan Festival and International Queer & Migrant Film Festival. This means anything from animations, documentaries, nature films to intense drama. With DJ’s, drinks and snacks besides, join us and watch amazing films of twelve Dutch film festivals in one night!
