Synopsis

The tragic Communist past of Eastern Europe slowly fades away from the public discourse and is becoming rather historical information for the younger generations. But many of those who suffered for decades because of it, its victims, feel that there’s still a lot of justice to be done. Such is the case of army vet and ex-political prisoner, colonel Vlasta Reiner, nowadays a man in his 80s, with a fragile body trapped in a wheelchair, but with a sharp mind and an extremely strong will. He reconnects in Prague with his old buddy, octogenarian Tonda, and they set out on the road to track and kill the Communist prosecutor who imprisoned and tortured them, yet was recently cleared of any crimes by the judicial system. As Vlasta puts it: “you can’t just piss all over the truth”. And for that truth, they are willing to overcome any obstacles, at all costs.
