On Tour: A journey back in time with “The Cars We Drove into Capitalism”

Our On Tour program, which brings captivating cinema to some of the most beautiful cinemas in the Netherlands, continues with the quirky documentary The Cars We Drove Into Capitalism!

Join us for a nostalgic journey in Dordrecht’s De Witt on Sunday, October 29th at 19:00 hours and experience the charm of socialist car culture through heart-warming stories, unique archive footage, and a touch of humour. This documentary, created by the talented duo Georgi Bogdanov and Boris Missirkov, provides a glimpse into the dreams and realities of owning a car during socialist times.

The film will be shown as a part of De Witt’s Stedenbanden Filmfestival, which includes three films from Dordrecht’s twin cities. Visitors have the option to enjoy this movie on its own or indulge in an all-access ticket for a movie-filled Sunday.
